Beautiful space. Fairly good decaf Americano. Very tasty mixed berries crepe. We have lots of coffee spots on Capitol Hill but none IMO as nice as Jewell Box.

I love the ambiance of this place. The location is great, right by Northgate and movie theaters. Nice outside patio, with heated fireplace. The inside is cozy decorated, with an inside fireplace and secluded rooms. I particularly appreciate the multi cultural atmosphere, with students from a variety of cultures studying here. Just showing up here is an experience. The staff is young and inexperienced. The food and drinks are not standardized. You can get an excellent drink and crepes on one experience. While the next will leave you disappointed. The lovely surroundings and comfortable setting is the key to me coming here. The crepes are not bad. The smoothies are not bad. The food and service are a second to coming here. I come here to appreciate the unique atmosphere of this place. I always feel welcomed here, regardless of what I order.

Food was overall pretty good and the service is pretty fast as well so if you're really hungry, its a good short wait. Their panini comes with a side of your choice of pasta salad, garden salad, or chips which I think is pretty nice. The portion size for the sandwich are pretty big and good for two meals unless you are super hungry. I didn't try the crepes but I was told it was really good especially the savory ones!!

Drinks - the drink selection was good and I really liked the blended chai boba I got. My partner got the normal milk tea and liked it as well. The boba was well done here - not too squishy or chewy. The chai was really tasty! Service - very speedy and efficient! When I asked for a recommendation of boba or chai they recommended a blended chai with boba. That was perfect! Ambiance - it's kind of a cute and interesting little spot. Not a ton of seating but it has a fire place, books, and a few board games you can take over to the booths and tables.
